We celebrated my friend Kirsten's birthday by going out to the market and drinking some tuk-a-lucks. It's basically a delicous fruit drink that has a combination of bananas, durien, mango, sugar and condensed sweetened milk and some more sugar all mixed in ice. It's basically your breaktfast of champions...cambodian style.
At one point someone yelled out and said, "whoa check out that huge pig!" Apparently, they weren't kidding. I walked to the back of the market and found it snacking on some food.
Happy birthday Kirsten! Thank you for sharing your delicous cake with us and thank you for being such a sweet friend. :) Hopefully we'll get to celebrate it together again next year.
