My friends Brandon, Bret, Trophy, Jill and Christine. Couldn't ask for a better group of people to travel Cambodia with.
We were greeted by the local children when we arrived to their village. When we got off the boat the chldren were more eagered about taking our coke cans than anything else. They often use empty containers play with.
After walking this long stair case we reached the top of a mountain where an ancient buddhist temple is located. I'm not sure of the exact date that is was built but I do know that it's at least two thousand years old.
A view inside the Buddhist Temple.
Brandon says he can climb trees because he's from Alabama. One of the many things I am grateful for is becoming friends with Jill. We sat next to each other during out 15 hour plane ride to Asia and since then we have become great buddies.
Brandon has also become another good friend. He helped cordinate this trip. Thank you Brandon!
Hanging out with the children was probably one of the coolest highlights from this trip. They were so playful and fun to be around with.
A much needed meal and drink after a long day of exploring out in the hot and humid weather.
Ancient artifacts that I got to touch because no one was around to tell me that I couldn't.
Sancript stones that are over two thousand years old. If you were next to such a magnificant piece I'm sure you'll want to get feel for it too.
